Ft Worth Live Stock Show

Trying out a corn dog for the first time, ummmm!

Elsie the cow

Bull Rider Bin

Oaxie says its been fun but its time to go!

Today we went to the Ft Worth Live Stock Show with Mommy, Nana and Granddaddy and burrrr was it cold. We stayed inside most of the time. We got to see all kinds of animals and we liked to try and make their sounds, especially the cows. We mooooed all day! We did not take a nap today and Mommy said we did exceptionally well without one. She was worried we were going to cause an animal stampede without sleeping but we didn't. Silly Mommy is such a worry wart sometimes!

Ice Cream- Yummy!

Bin had his appointment at Scottish Rite and we were there most of the day! We had only one major meltdown and after that was over we were perfect the rest of the day. Bin did not want to stay in his room, instead he wanted to go walk the halls and look at all the neat trains and toys everywhere. Who could blame him for that, right? He had a great checkup. Dr. Adams said he looked great and was doing soooo good. The Physical therapist seems to think we need to wait a little while longer on Bin's left foot. Since he is walking with his walker and trying to take steps on his own she does not want to get in the way of that progress. She is afraid if we do surgery now that will set him back a bit, considering he would be in a cast again and if we put him in a brace it would be from his waist down to his toes. She said keep encouraging him to get moving, which we don't have to do. That boy is a busy body!!! He is constantly on the go and won't let anything get in the way of what he wants to do. I am so glad he has that personality. If he were easy going and layed back I don't know if we would be as far as we are with his motor abilities. He is just awesome. Anyway after the long day, we stopped and got him his first ice cream cone. Of course he loved it.

Our Little Stinker

Oaxie giving her usual look, and yes she still
refuses to give up her hats!!

Bin loving his Nana

Oaxie hoping Nana will stay for one more day!

Well, we have been very busy and I have not taken many pictures lately. Jon was gone to Arizona for a week and Nana came to stay with us. Her very first time to ever drive that far by herself. We are very proud of her!! Now she has no excuses not to come anymore!!! After she left, Bin and Oaxie were constantly asking, "where Nana go!" Lucky for them, Nana and Granddaddy are on their way here as I write this. Yippeee! Bin has his appointment at Scottish Rite tomorrow. These days are very long and by the end Bin, Jon and I are exhausted. Oaxie will be very happy to have her grandparents all to herself. Speaking of Oaxie, she has become quiet the little Stinker! She is starting to test Mommy and Daddy and is very good at it! I finally broke down and ordered a book called Love and Logic. I read it in about 2 days. Very interesting disciplining technique. Anyway we are fixing to put it to use and see if it works on her. I will let you know how it goes!
