Happy Halloween

Oaxie has had enough!


Let's call it a night, we are pooped!


We are not real sure what to think about this Halloween thing yet. To start the evening off Bin fell off the side of the porch, thankfully in the flower bed. We were unable to remove all the leaves from his costume after that, hey stuck to him like glue. Oaxie took off down the street to join a group of Tricker Treaters that had their dog with them. TaTa and Grandpa Mike came to see them so TaTa went with her. Bin decided he wanted to go, so he took off on his walker. He walked half way down the street. That was a lot of hard work for him. By the end of the evening Bin and Oaxie turned into pumpkins. Oaxie had a little tantrum in the front yard and lay there for a while and would not get up. Bin kept grabbing the candy basket and spilling it everywhere!. Finally, as we were about to go in, Oaxie fell off the front step and hit her head. She is okay but it scared Mommy and Daddy to death! After their bath they were saying, "Night, Night." They must have been really sleepy. We put them down and never heard another peep. This night has been exhausting. Good Night!

Tonight we stayed up a little late so we could help Daddy carve the pumpkin. Oaxie wanted to eat the pumpkin seeds and Bin wanted to play with all the sticky gook. We have not decided what we are going to do tomorrow night. We may just let Bin and Oaxie hand out candy in their costumes or we may go visit friends houses. We never decide on anything until the last minute!

Daddy Time

Today we went to see Daddy after work. He loves when we come to see him. We get to play with lots of neat things. Mommy gets worried and follows us around like a hawk. She thinks we are going to try and start welding or something, she is such a Nervous Nelly! The Mineral Wells Airport is out by Daddy's shop so I (Bin) was so happy to watch all the Jay Jay the Jet Planes fly over head. (Any time Bin sees an airplane, he screams Jay Jay after the tv show) After that, we all went to get a pumpkin for Halloween. Thankfully there were still some left. Daddy and Mommy sometimes wait until the last minute to get things done around here! It is too late now, so tomorrow night we are all going to carve the pumpkin, we can't wait.

This afternoon we went out to visit Grandpa Mike and TaTa. We had a fun time. We threw rocks in the water and went on a long walk all the way around the tank. We searched for arrowheads and we actually found one! Bin loves to play on the backhoe. He is just like Daddy. He will be driving that big thing before we know it. Yikes! Oaxie chased the cats and dogs around. TaTa has a new kitty that she played with. She loves animals. She is very gentle with them. She even fed the baby kitty. She was so proud of herself.

Today we played outside all afternoon. The weather is perfect right now. Poor Oaxie does not have a hat that will fit her anymore so she had to wear one of Bin's. I noticed there is an old muffler in the background of one of Oaxie's pictures. No, we have not opened up a used car parts lot. Jon has bought an old 47 Willy's jeep that he is in the process of refurbishing. I promise that is not in front of our house permanently!:)

We let Bin and Oaxie try on their costumes to make sure they fit before Halloween gets here. They were so cute. They laughed and chased each other all around the house trying to grab their tails and feathers. We were cracking up. We have actually let them wear the costumes a couple of times because they have so much fun. I figure we might as well let them get some use out of them! Hopefully I will get a good picture of them together with them on. You will be seeing the little dragon and peacock again real soon!

Fun Times

Hanging out in the entertainment center and playing in the rocking chair are our two favorite things to do right now. We make Mommy really nervous though. She is constantly worried we are going to shut our fingers in the cabinet door. We like closing each other up in it and opening the door really fast and saying, "peek-e-boo!". The rocking chair is a blast too. We can get on it all by ourselves at the same time. She told us that if we go and get in the rocking chair without her in the room she is going to take it out! We have a feeling it will be gone in the next few days. We like to both get in it at the same time and rock back and fourth really fast. It totally freaks Mommy out! Hee Hee.
